Trim and Tilt Repair at Your Dock
Trim units sit at the waterline, in salt, all day. Seals wear, motors corrode, and relays fail. We repair trim and tilt systems on single to quad outboard setups, often without pulling the boat.

When You Call, the Owner Picks Up
Every call goes straight to Ethan, the owner of EG Marine Services and the mechanic who does the work. There’s no receptionist taking a message and no waiting on a callback from someone who’s never seen your boat.
Tell him what’s going on: the alarm on the display, the noise at idle, the engine that won’t turn over. Ethan knows Yamaha, Suzuki, Mercury, and the rest of what runs in South Florida inside and out, so you’ll usually get a straight answer on the first call, whether that’s something you can check yourself or a visit to your dock.

Trim & Tilt Repair FAQs
Why won't my outboard trim up?
It's usually electrical (a bad relay, solenoid, switch, or trim motor) or hydraulic (low fluid or a failed pump). We test both and fix what failed.
Why does my motor slowly trim down on its own?
Internal leaks in the trim unit, usually worn seals. A reseal typically fixes it.
Can corroded trim rams be repaired?
Lightly corroded rams can be resealed. Badly pitted rams should be replaced, or they'll tear through new seals.
